   The Frames Film have now become Social Spectrum Media LLP.

Social Spectrum Media is made from three midlands based film-makers who are passionate about making films.

The group met in late 2006 and instantly found they shared a vision to make a name for themselves in the local film industry.

Embarking on their first independent short film, they set about a challenging script and attracted the interest of other local and talented film-makers.

Social Spectrum Media, then known as 'The Frames', completed their short film 'Milk' in November 2007. The film was screened in Wolverhampton the following January and received rapturous applause from its audience, with local newspapers also praising the short piece.

The film made it to Propeller TV in March 2008, screening numerous times and even making it to the top four in the viewers top choice of films. It will also appear in the UK Guide to British Film 2008, published by Edinburgh Film Festival and has been selected for Artsfest 2008 in Birmingham.

Social Spectrum Media is an initiative set up to create film, promote the profiles of midland film-makers, network with other film-makers and most importantly, keep local passion for film burning.

The group are currently preparing to shoot their latest short film, "8-Ball" in September, which is aimed for completion in November. PROJECTS
